On 17 August 2023 SDL NOBEL successfully completed a turnkey project for Turan Drilling and Engineering — the delivery of three sets of Blowout Preventer (BOP) transport frames. The scope was managed end to end, from initial concept through to certified offshore installation.
Project scope
The work package covered full design and structural load calculations for each frame, the supply of offshore-certified materials, in-house fabrication and inspection to offshore lifting standards.

Result
The project was completed successfully within the agreed schedule, through to certified offshore installation. All structural items, supporting drawings and certification documentation were prepared and handed over in line with strict HSE requirements and the ISO 9001 quality standard.
